William "Bill" Wayne Huggins, Sr. of Bourbon, Missouri was born Tuesday, July 9, 1935 at Shirley, Arkansas to the union of James and Muriel (nee: Williams) Huggins and left from this life on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 77 years 3 months and 9 days. Bill was united in marriage to Deloris Fox on December 7, 1954 at Dupo, Illinois and to this union five children were born Deborah, Marsha, William Jr., Ronald and Donald. Bill was the owner/operator of Sullivan Precision Metal Finishing in Sullivan, Missouri for the past forty years. Bill was a member of the Trinity Chapel of Leasburg and he enjoyed working on his farm, taking care of the cows, riding his tractor, going to auctions, gardening, old cars and he had a collection of lots of different things. But what he always enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. Bill was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Bill is preceded in death by his parents James and Muriel Huggins, one sister Eileen Blair, brother Wendell J. Huggins, two sister-in-laws Ida Fox and Betty Buckner, one nephew Melvin Douglas Mannon and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Deloris Huggins of the home, five children Deborah and husband Robert Timmons, Marsha and husband Charles Gossage, William and wife Pam Huggins, Jr., Ronald and wife Dana Huggins all of Bourbon and Donald Huggins of Waterloo, Illinois, one brother James and wife Linda Huggins of Shirley, Arkansas, one sister Linda Mannon of Bourbon, fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 22, 2012 from 4:00 till 8:00 PM and Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 9:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Richard Martin officiating. Special music will be "What Heaven Means to Me" and "God on the Mountain" by Melissa Gallaher and Sandy Martin. Honored to be serving as pall bearers will be Chuck Gossage, Ted Timmons, Tim Erxlaven, Brandon Harness, Wendell Huggins and Greg Hyde. Interment and prayers will follow at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Huggins family.
