William Fred Bay, Jr. of St. James, Missouri was born December 21, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of William Fred Bay, Sr. and Leola Pearl Bay (nee: Long) and left from this life on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 29 days. William was retired from the USDA Forestry Service as a Contracting Officer, he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints in Rolla, Missouri and was a fifty plus year member of the Orange Park Masonic Lodge in Orange Park, Florida. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy. He loved his family, church, genealogy, cooking, reading, traveling and being an adventurer. William was united in marriage to Pauline Edgar on June 6, 1944 in Salem, Arkansas. Together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. William is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Judith Bay, four brothers Charles, Donald Carroll and Dewaine. Those who left to mourn his passing are his wife Pauline Bay (nee: Edgar), two sons William F. (Lynn) Bay, III of Arcadia, FL Robert C.(Yvonne) Bay of Palmer, AK , two daughters Janice Bay of Trapper Creek, AK and Robin Christopher of St. James, MO two sisters Anna Douglas of Yuma, AZ, Delores Novick of Manchester, MO 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
