Vonda J. Johnson

Vonda J. Johnson of Owensville, Missouri formerly of South St. Louis, Missouri was born on October 3, 1923 in Datto, Arkansas and left from this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Frene Valley Healthcare South in Owensville, Missouri at the age of 91. Vonda worked many years for the Government at the Depo in St. Louis and later at Ed Rohr Radio in St. Louis. She enjoyed volunteering as a Gray Lady for St. Louis area hospitals. In her spare time she was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. Vonda is preceded in death by her parents Jack Johnston and Violet (Stevens) Johnston; one daughter Molly Dixon. Those who left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two grandchildren Jacob and Luke Dixon of Sullivan, Missouri; cousins and friends. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Johnson family.
