Vicki Lynn Durham

Vicki Lynn Durham of Cuba, Missouri was born on August 6, 1979, in Rolla, Missouri. She left this life surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the age of 44.

Vicki was united in marriage to Christopher Durham at a Trash Truck Wedding Ceremony at Indian Hills Lake on July 21, 2012.

Vicki grew up on her grandparents’ farm in Boss, Missouri. She always reflected on her great memories living there and the special bond that she had with them. She graduated from Viburnum High School “Class of 1997”.

She was proud to be a Licensed Insurance Agent in the area. She worked for Pat Shaw and Tara Brewer at American Family Insurance, Laxton Insurance, Jon Lovegreen at State Farm Insurance and Ashley Copeland at Insurance Center of Cuba. She also spent a few years working as a receptionist at St. James Dental Center.

Vicki loved to play her piano, listen to blue grass music, swimming, and taking trips to Florida. She was never shy for words and always enjoyed talking and spending time with her family and friends.

Vicki is preceded in death by her grandparents Darrell and Marlene Asher; father-in-law Thomas Mull.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Christopher Durham; daughter Raylynn Henson; four legged son Buster all of Cuba; parents Christopher and wife Cathy Wolff of Viburnum, Melissa and husband Tony Lawrence of Salem; two sisters Kristina and husband Greg Smith of Salem, Julia Ellerbe of El Dorado, Arkansas; mother-in-law Judy Mull of Cuba; two brothers-in-law Ron Durham and Anthony Durham both of Cuba; one sister-in-law Stacey Durham of Florissant; special friends Josh Cape and Kayla Korte both of Cuba; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 3-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Asher, officiating.

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Josh Cape, Chris Newcom, Cody Stites, Richard Korte, Tony Bynum, Pug Verble, Brian Weidman and Josh Tatkenhorst.
