Thomas Joseph Geisler

Thomas Joseph Geisler of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Evern and Elda (Emke) Geisler on April 15, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life suddenly on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Missouri at the age of 53 years. Thomas has worked the last twenty plus years for MODOT. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, making beef jerky and spending time with family and friends. Thomas was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father Evern Geisler, three brothers Phillip, Gary and Dennis Geisler and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving mother Elda (nee: Emke) Geisler of Cuba, Missouri; seven brothers and one sister David and wife Willene Geisler of Cuba, Missouri, Stanley and wife Judy Geisler of Defiance, Missouri, Kevin Geisler of Cuba, Missouri, Michael and wife Cindy Geisler of Overland, Missouri, Robert and wife Mary Geisler of Defiance, Missouri, Raymond and wife Valerie Geisler of Cuba, Missouri, Joann and husband Sam Price of Camdenton, Missouri, Donald Geisler of Overland, Missouri; one sister-in-law Carol Geisler of Overland, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral Mass will celebrated on Friday, July 20, 2012 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father James Finder as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or Masses. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Geisler family.
