Thomas Jefferson Hamilton of Cuba, Missouri was born August 15, 1923 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Thomas J. Hamilton and Mary (Nee:Beyer) Hamilton and left from this life on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the age of 83 years and 12 days. Thomas was united in marriage to Patricia Dausch on August 7, 1948 at St. Louis. Missouri and to this union two children were born; Kevin and Michelle. Thomas worked as a machinist in the St. Louis area for many years before he retired. Tom was a handyman, he could fix and repair almost anything. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, making fishing lures, painting pictures of the outdoors and gardening. He once made a saddle for Roy Rogers. He enjoyed reading a good book, his bible, watching the Discovery Channel, History Channel and Christian Channel on TV. The most important things in Tom's life was his family. Tom was a loving son, husband, companion, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many and he will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him. Those who preceded Tom in death is his parents Thomas and Mary Hamilton, his wife Patricia A. Hamilton, his uncle Pat Enloe and a host of other relatives and friends. Those who are left to mourn his passing is his companion of 14 years Goldie F. Gibson of Cuba, his son Kevin T. and wife June Hamilton of Plato, Missouri and daughter Michelle T. Willis of Campbell, TX, one brother Kenneth and wife Joan Hamilton, four grandchildren; Sunshine and husband Mark Schoonhoven, Shawn M. Perry, Theresa R. and husband Eric McArthur and Miranda R. and husband Adam Hahn, six great grandchildren; Sheeshta M. Perry, Anjelika M. Schoonhoven, Shauna A. Bradshaw, Elizabeth R. Reid, Mason R. McArthur and Gabriel Hahn and many other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, August 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, August 31st at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba with Brother Larry Buettner officiating. Inurnment private at Valhalla Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. The family is being served by Britton Funeral Home, Cuba.
