Theresa Mary Hopkins

Theresa Mary Hopkins of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, May 10, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Manuel and Josephine (DeLorenzo) Quartuccio. She left from this life, surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 74 years.

Theresa was united in marriage to Craig Hopkins on December 11, 1971 in Bel-Ridge, Missouri. To this union three daughters were born Michelle, Melissa and Nicole.

Theresa was a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Dana Brake Parts for almost 20 years. She was a member of the Indian Hills Ladies Club and a longtime parishioner at Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she was a devoted member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, crossword puzzle books, traveling and visiting “The Hill”. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Josephine (DeLorenzo) Quartuccio; one sister, Paula Striegel.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of forty-nine years Craig Hopkins of Cuba; three daughters Michelle and husband Daniel Pinnell of Cuba, Melissa and husband Bryan Adams of St. James, Nicole and husband Aaron Harrison of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; seven grandchildren Stephanie, Angelica, Mikey, Gabe, Olivia, Nate and Aidan; five great-grandchildren Kurtis, Caleb, Amiah, Jeremiah and Dominic; two nephews Christopher and wife Jessica Striegel of Flora, Indiana, Kevin and wife Tara Striegel of Linden, Indiana; one niece Jennifer and husband Robert Enloe of Sullivan; cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Dan Lueckenotte as the celebrant.

Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
