Terry M. Lager of Cuba, formerly St. Louis, Missouri was born Friday, September 14, 1951 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Harold and Mary A. (Nee: Bequette) Lager. He passed from this life Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 68 years.
Terry was married May of 1975 in St. Louis and had one son: Justin. He worked for the St. Louis County Library System for many years in the maintenance department.
He moved to Cuba in 1992 with his girlfriend, Patricia Pendergrass. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, gardening, drawing, and making wine.
Terry was a loving son, brother, boyfriend, father, uncle, great uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Mary Lager; girlfriend Patricia; three brothers Gary Lager, Gerald "Jerry" Lager and Randolph "Randy" Lager and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his brothers Richard Lager and Ronald Lager of St. Louis; one son Justin Lager of St. Louis; two nieces Jennifer Lager and Miranda Lager; one nephew Mark Lager and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, May 18, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba.
Celebration of Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 415 W School Street, Cuba with Father Dan Lueckenotte as Celebrant.
Interment and prayers will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba.
