Teddy E. Parker of Leasburg, Missouri was born Monday, September 12, 1960 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Walter and Georgiann Parker. He left from this life on Friday, January 10, 2020 at his home in Leasburg at the age of 59 years.
Teddy worked as a boiler maker for many years, for Local #27 Union. He retired in 2015, because of health issues, from Holsum Cement Plant. Teddy spent hours treasure hunting. Whether he was using his metal detector, hunting for arrowheads or dumpsters diving Teddy was always looking for a treasure.
He enjoyed reading, dancing, playing cards, making people laugh, traveling and he always wanted to be on the go. What he truly loved most in life was his family and friends.
Teddy was a loving son, brother, dad, grandpa, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, best friend and friend of many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his mother Georgiann Parker; brother-in-law Jeff Alexander and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving children, Danny and Johnny Parker of Leasburg; three amazing grandchildren, Breanna, Keenan and Eleanore; his father Walter Parker; two sisters, Terry Alexander of Rolla and Tina Parker of St. James; three brothers, Charlie and wife Winnie Parker of St. James, Mike and wife Michelle Brown of Joplin, Missouri and Eric and wife Carrie Brown of Rolla; former daughter-in-law Donna Parker of Cuba; best friend Erin Gray of Leasburg; special friend Annelle Leassner of Cuba; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2020 from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Mizell Funeral Home, Cuba with Pastor Tom Campbell officiating and eulogy by Erin Gray. Special recorded music will be "Here We Go Again", "Wish You Were Here" and "Crimson and Clover".
Interment and prayers will follow at the Lea Cemetery, Leasburg, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crawford County Relay for Life in Teddy's memory.
