Tammy Sue Thomas of Cuba, Missouri was born December 2, 1963 at Ottawa, Kansas to the union of Orville Timothy Jr. and Janet King and left from this life on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the age of 47 years 2 months and 7 days. Tammy graduated college from Cape Girardeau, Missouri and then went to work for D.F.S. in Cape. After moving to Cuba Tammy worked at Pathways until she retired in 2003. Tammy enjoyed fishing with her dad, drawing, listening to music and playing the guitar. She collected Coke items, Indian dolls, dream catchers and other original Indian items. She loved people, especially little kids, her dog Mandy, her Angel fish, her black Dodge Ram pickup but what she truly loved most was her daughter, parents, family and spending time with all of them. Tammy was a loving daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Tammy is preceded in death by her father Orville Timothy King, Jr. (who passed away when Tammy was seventeen days old), her grandfather Orville Timothy King, her Lunsford Grandparents, her Thomas Grandparents and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving daughter Tabitha Morse of Cuba, parents Janet and Charles Thomas of Cuba, grandmother Bernice King of Glencoe, Minnesota, aunts and uncles Sharon and husband Billy Carl of Black, Missouri, Raney Gene and wife Helen Lunsford of Monroe, North Carolina, Leonard Thomas and friend Waynette Walker of Cleburne, Texas, Jim and wife Mary Stevens of Keller, Texas, Larry and wife Connie McGuire of Glencoe, Minnesota, Calvin and wife Ann King of Arizona, Larry and wife Wanda King of Florida and Linda and husband Mark Hatlestad, a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Covenant Praise Church of God, 309 N Mapleshade, Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Special music will be 郢邀邜If I Die Young郢邀邝, 郢邀邜I Will Always Love You郢邀邝, 郢邀邜Live Like You Were Dying郢邀邝 and 郢邀邜Landslide郢邀邝. Honored to be serving as casket bearers will be Billy Carl, Eric Gregory, Chris Lunsford, Fernando Padilla, Nathan Howard and Dean Hayes. Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be greatly appreciated. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Thomas family.
