Steven Elroy Thomas Heppermann

Steven Elroy Thomas Heppermann of Cuba, Missouri was born August 6, 1950 at Warrenton, Missouri to the union of Elroy S. "Dick" and Oleta (nee: Nichols) Hepperman and left from this life on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 60 years 4 months and 23 days. Steve had worked for Mullally Distributing Company since 1974 and was currently a Route Supervisor. He is the proud father of two children Stacey Brooke and Joshua. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and a member of the Sullivan F.O.E. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. Steve was a loving son, brother, father, father-in-law, grandfather, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Steve is preceded in death by his parents Dick and Oleta Hepperman, great nephews Jeremiah and Christopher Klein, great niece Sydni Pfeiffer and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving children Stacey Brooke Allen of Kidder, Missouri and Joshua and wife Janet Heppermann of Sullivan, three beautiful grandchildren Madison Brooke Allen, Camden Joshua and Gavin Steven Heppermann, two sisters Linda and husband Bill Brennan of Cuba and Lora and husband Keith Donze of Owensville, former wife and friend Jill Heppermann, aunt Lillian Burr of St. Louis, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, other relatives and a whole host of friends and fishing buddies. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 5 till 8 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Bill Nichols officiating. Special music will be "The River" and "œWhen I Get to Where I'm" Going and "Cats in Cradle". Honored to be serving as pall bearers are Josh Heppermann, Richard Counts, J.T. Ransom, Dennis Hattersley, Bill Moreland, Eddie Rutz and Brent McClintick. Interment and prayers will follow at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Charity of Choice in Steve's memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Heppermann family.
