Shirley R. Hall

Shirley R. Hall of Cuba, Missouri was born on March 15, 1937 in Raymondville, Missouri to the union of Harold and Roberta (Henson) Young and left from this life surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the age of 79. Shirley retired from Meramec Industries, Sullivan, Missouri and later retiring from Mar-Bal Inc., Cuba, Missouri. She enjoyed playing bingo, quilting, gardening and cooking. The most important part of her life was spending time with her family, she loved spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband William N. Hall; one daughter Brenda Talmadge; one brother Harold Young, Jr.; one sister Beulah Franklin; two infant brothers. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her three children Barbara and husband Jimmy Thomas of Robertsville, Missouri, Dorothy Fisher of Cuba, Missouri, Ronald and wife Debbie Lewis of Texas; two brothers Charles Young of Hawaii, Mackey Young of Warrenton, Missouri; two sisters Josephine Foster of Houston, Missouri, Betty Simon of Warrenton, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin, officiating. Interment will follow at Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Jonah Oxley, Jimmy Thomas, Tucker Curtner, Dalton Curtner, Walt Ziegler and Kevin Lumos. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Crawford County Relay for Life. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Shirley's family.
