Sheila Lee Conway

November 2, 1957 — January 17, 2010

Sheila Lee Conway of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of James M. and Betty Jo (Cook) Jones on November 2, 1957 at St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 52. Sheila was united in marriage to Jerry D. Conway on February 9, 1977 at St. Louis and to this union two children were born Christy and Jerry. Sheila worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for many years because she enjoyed taking care of others. During her career she worked for Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Missouri Baptist Hospital and more recently at Advantage Nursing in Sullivan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leasburg for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed being MeMe to her five grandchildren, watching TV, tending to her flowers and what was always most important to her, was spending time with her family and friends. Sheila is preceded in death by her father James Morgan Jones; mother-in-law Ocie Baxter and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy is her husband Jerry D. Conway; two children Christy Conway and fianc郃邩 James Knowlton, Jerry and wife Darlene Conway all of Cuba, Missouri; five adorable grandchildren Tesah, James, Elizabeth, Lacie and Emily; mother Betty Jo Holcomb of Wentzville, Missouri; three sisters Debbie and husband Matthew Kless of Indiana, Tina Jo and husband Dave Steimel of Wentzville, Missouri and Kimberly and husband Brian Fisher of Richwoods, Missouri; brother-in-law Joe and wife Denise Baxter of Lonedell, Missouri; sister-in-law Brenda Rice of St. Clair, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A kind and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, meme, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Tony Amato, officiating. Interment will follow at Lea Cemetery, Leasburg, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri 65453. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Conway family.
