Sheila Jean York

Sheila Jean York of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, December 30, 1949 at Columbus, Kansas to the union of Eado and Helen (nee: Grove) Lucchi and left from this life on Friday, June 29, 2012 at her home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 62 years. Sheila retired in early 2006 as the HR Manager from the Brake Parts Inc in Cuba after 26 years of dedicated service. Sheila was united in marriage to Ken York on November 18, 1989 at Columbus, Kansas. She enjoyed golf, swimming, traveling, her flower gardens, sewing and going to the Boat in her spare time. Sheila was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, step-grandmother, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend of many. Sheila is preceded in death by her parents Eado and Helen Lucchi and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Ken York of Cuba, one son Curt Reynolds of Cuba, one daughter Renee and husband Doc Terry Sellers of Cuba, two step daughters Janet and husband DG Ellison of Columbus, Kansas and Donna and husband David Endicott of Scammon, Kansas, two grandchildren Garrett and Lacey Sellers of Cuba and two step grandchildren Emily and Gavin Endicott of Scammon, Kansas, two sisters Betty Turner and Rose Ann Box both of Columbus, Kansas, mother-in-law and father-in-law Henrietta and WL York Jr of Columbus, Kansas, three sisters-in-law Bobbie Westervelt of Cherokee, Kansas, Connie and husband Jack Taft of Webb City, Missouri and Pamela Evitts of Arkansas, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial Service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Charity of choice. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Sheila's family.
