Sharon Turner

November 22, 1946 — August 22, 2020

Sharon Turner of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, November 22, 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Harry Willis and Lorraine (Nee: Alewel) Quann. She left from this life on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital at the age of 73 years.

Sharon was united in marriage to Daniel David Turner in 1965 at Kentucky and they are the proud parents of Jeffrey, Scott, Dana and Daniel D., Jr.

Sharon and Daniel moved to Indian Hills Lake in 2000 and Sharon was the Office Manager for ten years. Sharon's favorite job of all times was being the manager of the Open-Door Animal Sanctuary located in House Springs, Missouri.

She loved training dogs, painting and reading her bible. During the mid-1970's she trained Doberman's. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting. Her favorite times of the year was Thanksgiving and Christmas when the family was all together and in December there was always a cookie bake swap.

Sharon was born and raised Lutheran and was very secure in her faith. What she truly loved most in life was spending time with her family and friends.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Willis and Lorraine Quann; two sisters Kathleen Bick and Sherry Lincoln; one brother Ray Quann; three sisters-in-law Mary Freimuth, Wanda Turner, and infant Sylvia Turner; one brother-in-law Buddy Turner and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of fifty-five years Daniel David Turner, Sr. of the home; four children Jeffrey Turner and companion Carrie Coleman of Washington, Missouri, Scott and wife Elizabeth Turner of Crestwood, Missouri, Dana Stout of Cuba and Daniel D. Turner, Jr. of Cuba; fifteen grandchildren Melissa, Anthony, Sarah, Danielle, Olivia, Haley, Tyler, Kelsey, Keirsten, Christian, Nicholas, Dylan, Kristen, Nick and Noah; ten great grandchildren and one more on the way; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Clifford Bridgeman officiating at the Mizell Funeral Home.

Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba.

The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Turner family.
