Sharon J. Mahurin

Sharon J. Mahurin (nee: Webster) of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of George and Betty Webster on Thursday, March 30, 1950 in Rolla, Missouri. She left from this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 70 years.

Sharon was united in marriage to Loyd Eugene "Gene" Mahurin on April 10, 1971 in St. James, Missouri. To this union three daughters were born Lora, Karen and Jessie. Gene passed away on August 30, 2020.

Sharon worked through the years for Briarwood Manor as a Med Tech, Meramec Industries as a Team Leader and Cuba Wal-Mart as a Pharmacy Tech. She was a member of Leasburg Assembly of God Church.

Sharon was a unique and caring individual, who touched the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed reading, Sudoku puzzles, sewing, crocheting, cooking, playing cards, Yahtzee and spoiling her grandchildren.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father George Webster; daughter Lora Jean Collins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Eula Mahurin. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Beedia Precord, Wilma Mahurin, James "Junior, Bill, Elmer "Red" and Jerry Mahurin.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy include her two daughters Karen and husband Bill Parkins and Jessie Mahurin all of Cuba, Missouri; son-in-law James Collins of Kentucky; mother Betty (Neighbors) Webster; siblings Shirley and husband Steve Stogsdill, Gary and wife Carol Webster all of St. James, Missouri; one grandson James Lawrence Mendoza; two stepchildren C.J. Collins of Cuba Missouri and Devon Politte of Bourbon, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 3 till 5 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 5:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Vaughn, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorials in Sharon's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online at St. Jude.org/donate or mail to; 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Autism Awareness.
