Rosemary June Grandfield of LaVergne, Tennessee formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born on Tuesday, October 10, 1944 at Granite City, Illinois to the union of Clark and Della Mae (nee: Humphrey) Roberson and left from this life on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at LaVergne, Tennessee at the age of 64 years 5 months and 5 days. Rosemary enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke (especially Loretta Lynn songs), planting flowers, crossword puzzles, being outdoors, collecting angels, antique dolls and traveling. She also enjoyed watching old western movies and Gun Smoke, eating Mexican food, dancing and animals. But what was the most important thing to her, was her family and spending all the time she could with them. Rosemary was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, fiancéé©e, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents Clark and Della Mae Roberson, husbands William Eugene Barnicle and James Grandfield, one daughter Elizabeth M. Veach, one sister Marlene, three brothers Jerry, Don and Tom and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her fiancéé©e William L. Burgess of Cuba, two sons Earl and wife Rhonda Barnicle of LaVergne, Tennessee and Gary and wife Ann Barnicle of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, two daughters Cathy and husband Jim Maize of Rolla, Missouri and Charleen Barnicle of Steelville, Missouri, one sister Dot and husband Tom Hunt of Dallas, Texas; two brothers Jim and wife Pat Roberson of Mesquite, Texas and Carl Roberson of Orange County, California: seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, March 20, 2009 at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Rev.
