Rose Rohan

Rose Emilie Virginia Rohan of Cuba was born to the union of J. Fred and Caroline (Hemmerle) Kern on Wednesday, October 2, 1912 at St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 97 years 1 month and 4 days. Rose was united in marriage to Sidney J. Rohan on May 16, 1927 at Clayton, Missouri. Rose was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul郢邀邙s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, shopping, flowers, crocheting and her dogs. Rose is preceded in death by her parents J. Fred and Caroline Kern; husband Sidney J. Rohan; two sons Edward and Marvin Rohan; three sisters Ethel Johnson, Mabel Muldoon and Norma Zimmermann. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her six children Kenneth and wife Velma Rohan of St. Louis, Missouri, Marlin and wife Barbara Rohan of Wright City, Missouri, Donald and wife Susan Rohan of Carpentersville, Illinois, Doris and husband Francis Aldwin of Florissant, Missouri, Sheila and husband Ralph Fletcher of Rolla, Missouri and Mary Christian of St. James, Missouri; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 11:00 a.m. 郢邀é‚" 1:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 1:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Gerald Wittmaier, officiating. Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
