Rose Marie Clardy

Rose Marie Clardy of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, February 8, 1936, In Kimmswick, Missouri to the union of Leonard F. and Rose A. (Weindel) Naes. She left this life on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home in Kirkwood, Missouri at the age of 87.

Rose was united in marriage to Robert D. Clardy on February 11, 1977, in Cuba, Missouri.

Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her home and family. She was a member of the Cuba Free Will Baptist Church and a charter member of the DAV Chapter #65. She loved spending time with Bob and her friends at the Cuba Senior Center.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents Leonard F. and Rose A. (Weindel) Naes; husband Robert D. “Bob” Clardy; brother Bernard Frank Naes.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her three children David and wife Katie Clardy of Waterloo, Illinois, Barbara and husband Mike Robinson of Cuba, Cynthia and husband Dale Martin of Webster Groves; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 7:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin, officiating.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, 10:15 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Cuba Senior Center.
