Ronnie E. 'Red' Clendenin

Ronnie E. "Red" Clendenin of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Howard and Gladys (Durfee) Clendenin on July 18, 1946 in Athens, Ohio. He left from this life suddenly on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home at the age of 70 years. Red retired from Mar-Bal, Inc. after many years of dedicated service. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed working outside in the yard, tinkering in the garage and watching college football. Red is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Gladys (Durfee) Clendenin; two brothers Howard and Raymond Clendenin; one sister Lillie Cline. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Ruth (Brown) Clendenin of the home; two daughters Sheila Adair and friend Ronnie Lundy of Salem, Missouri, Michelle and Wayne Kelly of Steelville, Missouri; son-in-law Wes Adair of Cuba, Missouri; ten grandchildren Colby Long, Shelbie Adair, Wesley Adair, Dakota Long, Sierra Worthington, MaKayla Dildine, Malachi Dildine, Kegan Dildine, Jada Kelly, Zoe Long; two great-grandchildren Chloe Miller and Keira Long; one brother Bill and wife Susie Durfee of Athens, Ohio; one brother-in-law Bobbie Brown and friend Pat Cookson of Cuba, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Ft. Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Disabled American Veterans- Cuba Chapter. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Clendenin family.
