Ronald Lee Knight of Cuba, Missouri was born on June 6, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of John Knight and Bertha L. Knight (nee: Kitrel) and left from this life on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 9 days. Ronald was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Jackson on November 19, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two daughters were born Suzan and Vicki. Ronald retired as an Operation Manager for Acme Freight Company in St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoyed building and construction. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing and most of all he loved spending time with his family. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents John and Bertha L. (Kitrel) Knight, three brothers John Jake, Raymond C. and Gerald Knight; one sister Emma Sue Wapelhorst; brother-in-law Ron Jackson. Those who are left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his loving wife Patricia A. Knight of Cuba, Missouri; two daughters Suzan Knight of Sullivan, Missouri and Vicki and husband Kerry Clonts of Stanwood, Washington; two brothers Donald Lee and wife Shirley Knight of Affton, Missouri and Bill and wife Ann Knight of Cuba, Missouri; two grandsons Staff Sgt. Kerry and wife Wendy Koepke of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri and Ronald M. Koepke of Cuba, Missouri; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Ernie Wapelhorst of Sullivan, Missouri, Bonnie Knight of St. Louis, Missouri, Bobbi and husband Fred Gorman of Granite City, Illinois, Colleen and husband Dane Brooks of Sullivan, Missouri, Jack and wife Frankie Jackson of Wright City, Missouri and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation: Friday, May 18, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 West Washington St. Cuba, Missouri Funeral: Friday, May 18, 2007 7:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Rev. John Patrick Day, C.P. officiating. Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri is honored to be serving the Knight family.
