Ronald L. 'Buddy' Talbert

Robert L. "Buddy" Talbert of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of George and Loretta (McWilliams) Talbert on Saturday, July 10, 1954 in Rolla, Missouri and he left from this life on Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 54 years 6 months and 22 days. Buddy was united in marriage to Joyce P. Cox on November 1, 1974 in Cuba, Missouri and to this union three children were born Angel, Lisa and Chris. Buddy worked as a Grinder and in the Maintenance Dept. at Affinia Brake Parts Inc. in Cuba. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an all around handy man. Buddy is preceded in death by one sister Donna Talbert and one brother Ross Talbert. Those who are left to cherish his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Joyce P. Talbert of Cuba; two daughters Angel Talbert of Sullivan and Lisa Talbert of Rolla; one son Chris Talbert of Cuba; eight grandchildren Hayley Winebaugh, Katelyn Talbert, Skyler and Alexis DeLong, De'Angelo and Aleena Mitchell, Amber Talbert and Dawn Lemons; parents George and Loretta (McWilliams) Talbert of St. James; Three brothers Roger, Wayne and Jimmy Talbert all of St. James; one sister Darla Talbert of St. James; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation: Friday, February 6, 2009 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral: Friday, February 6, 2009 1:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Pastor Terry King, officiating. Interment: Licklider Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
