Ronald “Gale” Kulp of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 15, 1936, in St. James, Missouri to Arthur E. and Inez J. (Berdar)Kulp. He left this life at his home, with his daughter by his side on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the age of 87.
Gale was united in marriage to Ruth E. Wilhite on June 10, 1961. To this union one daughter was born Elizabeth. Liz and her husband Scot would then bless them with two grandchildren Cory and Castin.
Gale grew up working in his father’s sawmill, he would then honorably serve his country in the United States Air Force. After returning to civilian life, he went to work in the Mines at Pea Ridge and later becoming a mechanic at Jim’s Motors in Cuba. He enjoyed being an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, golfing, deer hunting, old cars and tinkering with motors.
Gale is preceded in death by his parents Arthur E. Kulp and Inez J. (Berdar) Saladin; wife Ruth E. (Wilhite) Kulp; granddaughter Castin Ellis; siblings Arthur H. Kulp, Jr., Cora Joan Kulp and Donna M. Kulp.
Those who are left to treasure his memory are his daughter Liz and husband Scot Ellis of Olathe, Kansas; grandson Cory Ellis of Olathe, Kansas; sister-in-law Ruby Wilhite of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces, nephews and many friends.
A private family service will be held.
Inurnment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Stanton, Missouri.
