Roderick Howard 'Rod' Baldwin

Roderick Howard "Rod" Baldwin of Cuba, Missouri was born July 10, 1964 at Normandy, Missouri to the union of Rawleigh H. and Lillian Pauline (Nee: Breece) Baldwin and left from this life on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the age of 50 years. Rod was disabled after being in an auto accident when he was 19 years of age. Rod played baseball as a child, collected baseball cards and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Rod loved going out to his parent's farm and walking through the woods. Rod played the guitar the years, collected antique radios and enjoyed going to the antique stores. He spent hours spoiling his dog Lulu and he was an animal lover. He was a graduate of the Cuba High School. Rod was a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rod is preceded in death by his father Rawleigh Baldwin and many other relatives. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving mother Polly Baldwin of Cuba, one brother Bob and wife Kim Baldwin of Cuba, one nephew Chad and wife Denise Baldwin, great nephew Jack Baldwin, great niece Faith Baldwin all of Union, Missouri, aunts and uncles; Patsy Baldwin of Dexter, Missouri, Bill Baldwin of Charter Oak, Missouri, Saunie and husband Randy Breece of Jackson, Missouri, Irene Baldwin of Benton, Missouri, Rick Baldwin of Marble Hill, Missouri, Buck and wife Bea Breece of Risco, Missouri, Lavada Oaker of Cuba, Sonny Baker of O'Fallon, Missouri and J. W. Lawrence of Troy, Missouri and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, with special music being "Amazing Grace" and "Angels Fly to Close the Ground". Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Baldwin family.
