Robert James "Bob" Ringeisen of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, February 20, 1933 to the union of James A. and Pearl A. (Nee: Ellis) Ringeisen and went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 31, 2014 in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 81 years. Bob was united in marriage to M. Jane Treece on August 19, 1953 in Hernando, Mississippi and to this union three sons were born; Robert, Timothy and David Alan. Bob proudly served in the United States Army, during the Korean War, from 1953 till 1955. After leaving the Army, Bob returned back to work as a machinist for the St. Louis Diecasting Corporation and he retired after 45 years of dedicated service in 1995. Bob was a talented hardworking man. He enjoyed working in his garage, being outdoors enjoying the sunshine, hunting and fishing. He was always helping his family and friends whenever needed. Bob was dearly loved and respected by all who knew and loved him. He demonstrated his faith well through his kind and generous spirit and the love he showed others. His deep love for this wife, Jane, was very evident in his life time of dedication, constant care and concern for her. He dearly loved all his family and received so much joy and satisfaction spending time with them vacationing at the lake, swimming, waterskiing (until his early 70'), celebrating holidays and sharing family meals. Bob and Jane were founding members of the Amazing Grace Church. Bob was a loving son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, great uncle, cousin, son-law, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bob is preceded in death by his parents James A. and Pearl A. Ringeisen, one infant son David Alan Ringeisen, three sisters Velma Pazkiewicz, Margaret Bayless and Shirley McMurtry, brother-in-law Dale Treece and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife of 61 years Jane Ringeisen of the home, two sons Robert M. "Bob" and wife Susan Ringeisen of Cuba and Timothy "Tim" and wife Sheila Ringeisen of Cuba, six grandchildren Matthew Ringeisen of Cuba, Michelle and husband David Wood of St. Peters, Missouri, Jennifer Ringeisen of Cuba, Julie Ringeisen of Cuba, Timothy and wife Catie Ringeisen of Cuba and Jason Ringeisen of Cuba, four great grandchildren Nate Wood, Bailee Wood, Emily Little and Zetta Ringeisen, one brother William "Bill" and wife Barbara Ringeisen of Ellisville, Missouri, two brothers-in-law Don and wife Mickey Treece of Cuba and Bill and wife Judy Treece of Cuba, nieces, nephews, church family and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 11;00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Community Church, 4315 Highway 19, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Amazing Grace Community Church with Pastor Gary Mace officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matthew Ringeisen, Jason Ringeisen, Tim Ringeisen, David Wood, Donnie Treece and Kenny Bayless. Interment and prayers will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amazing Grace Community Church is Bob's memory.
