Robert C. "Bob" Heisman, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday, September 1941 in Washfield, Illinois to the union of Charles and Viola (Richardson) Heisman. He left from this life on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 79 years.
Bob was united in marriage to Linda C. Henson on November 11, 1989, in Mt. Olive, Illinois.
Bob retired as a Truck Driver from Yellow Freight, after twenty-seven years of dedicated service. Bob loved taking care of his horses and was a Past President of the Saddle Club of Cuba. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Viola (Richardson) Heisman; two sisters Kay Jones and Beverly Bergman; one great-grandson Chandler Elliot Werley.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Linda C. (Henson) Heisman of Cuba, Missouri; six children Laura and husband David Cox of Mt. Olive, Illinois, Tammy Heisman of California, Robert "Chad" and wife Mary Heisman of Cuba, Missouri, Denise Kays of Lebanon, Missouri, Heather and husband John Shortell of Richland, Missouri, Mia Heisman of Cuba, Missouri; one sister Patty Dooley of Litchfield, Illinois; one brother Larry and wife Juanita Heisman of Litchfield, Illinois; one brother-in-law Mel Bergman of Litchfield, Illinois; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
In keeping with his wishes, Bob will be cremated.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2pm. at the Saddle Club 408 Saddle Club Rd. at Cuba, Missouri.
