Rita J. Frees

Rita J. Frees of Cuba, Missouri was born July 4, 1953 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of David Thomas Cates and Thelma Joyce (nee: Kitchens) Cates and left from this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 53 years 10 months and 19 days. Rita was united in marriage to Michael "Mike" Frees on June 20, 1985 at Steelville, Missouri. Rita enjoyed making and painting ceramics, going to craft shows to display and sell her arts and crafts that she made by hand and taking classes to enhance her painting skills. Rita was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rita is preceded in death by her parents; David Thomas and Thelma Joyce Cates and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to mourn her passing but to celebrate a life lived is her loving husband Mike Frees of Cuba, Missouri, one brother Tommy Cates and two sisters Nancy and Rebecca Cates all of the High Ridge, Missouri area.
