Polly Baldwin

Polly Baldwin of Cuba, Missouri was born on November 8, 1938, in Parma, Missouri to Marvin L. and Edna V. (Sanders) Breece. She left this life peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her home at the age of 85.

Polly was united in marriage to Rawleigh H. Baldwin on May 4, 1957, in Tupelo, Mississippi. To this union two sons were born Robert and Rodney.

Polly worked at the Cuba Free Press for several years. She enjoyed living on the farm, fishing, gardening, reading and was a sports enthusiast, especially the St. Louis Cardinals.

Polly is preceded in death by her parents Marvin L. and Edna V. (Sanders) Breece; husband Rawleigh H. Baldwin; son Rod Baldwin; brothers and sisters Randy Breece, Tom Breece, Doyle and wife Carol) Breece, Buck Breece, Lavern and husband Jean Ohr, Betty and husband JW Lawrence, Wilma and husband Sonny Baker.

Those who are left to treasure her memory are her son Robert “Bob” and wife Kim Baldwin of Cuba; grandson Chad and wife Denise Baldwin of Union; great-grandchildren Jack and Faith Baldwin; sister Lavada Oaker of Cuba; sister-in-law Bea Breece of Risco; fur companion Barney; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin, officiating.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers Charlie Schroyer, Mark Schroyer, Ethan Schroyer, Joe Cason, Mike Myers and Doyle Lawrence.

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
