Peter R. Sego

Peter Robert Sego of Cuba, Missouri was born January 27, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Monday, December 17, 2007 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 60 years 10 months and 21 days. Peter retired as a Draftsman from U.S. Geological Survey in Rolla, Missouri. He obtained a Bachelor Degree from Oklahoma State University. His hobbies included playing chess, cards, darts and shooting pool. He enjoyed swimming and watching football. Peter is preceded in death by his birth mother Lucille (Myers) Breece, grandparents Pete & Eula Myers and Leslie E. and Virginia E. Sego. Those who are left to cherish his memory and to continue his legacy are his son Zak Sego of Cuba, Missouri; parents Robert L. and Lucille Sego of Cuba, Missouri and Audrey and Merle Spindler of Sullivan, Missouri; three sisters Christina Sego of Sullivan, Missouri, Shelly Gill of Abilene, Texas and Suzi Davis of Cuba, Missouri; two step-sisters Iris Shane of Cuba, Missouri and Gail De Bourge of Washington, Missouri; one step-brother Bradley Taylor of Cuba, Missouri; special nephew Jordan Sego of Sullivan, Missouri; aunts, uncles, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation: Wednesday, December 19, 2007 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral: Thursday, December 20, 2007 2:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle R. Phillips, officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Thurmond, Harley Gill, Bradley Taylor, Jim Shane, Bob Merson and Tim Hebert. Interment: Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Sego family.
