Pearl Elizabeth Spatafora (nee: Riefle) of Eldon, Missouri formerly of Cuba was born to the union of Frank and Pearl (Delahay) Riefle on January 13, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Eldon Nursing & Rehab in Eldon, Missouri at the age of 87. Pearl was united in marriage to Samuel Spatafora on November 24, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union twelve children were born Joseph, Frank, Sandra, Johnny, Patricia, Patrina, Gracie "Nikki", Linda, Michael, Donna "Maria", Gina and Tina. Pearl was a homemaker, spending time and taking care of her family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed dancing, telling stories, being the life of the party, a practical jokester and was always cleaning. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents; husband Samuel Spatafora; one son Johnny Spatafora; three daughters Gracie Lynn "Nikki" Morris, Patricia and Patrina Spatafora; four brothers Marlin and Louis Resinger, Gerald and Kenneth Riefle; one daughter-in-law Rita Spatafora. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her eight children Joseph Spatafora of High Hill, Missouri, Frank Spatafora of Caseyville, Illinois, Sandra and husband Charles Rogenhofer of Union, Missouri, Linda and husband Michael Dosier of Georgetown, Texas, Michael and wife Kris Spatafora of St. Ann, Missouri, Donna "Maria" Spatafora of Wentzville, Missouri, Gina and husband Jeff Hill of Eldon, Missouri, Tina and husband John Logue of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri; three brothers Ronald and wife Mary Riefle of Fenton, Missouri, Gary and wife Sharon Riefle of St. Ann, Missouri, Vernon and wife Dottie Riefle of Kirkwood, Missouri; one son-in-law Ken Morris of St. James, Missouri; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 12:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery.
