Pauline Elizabeth Farris of Cuba, Missouri was born April 11, 1920 in Bourbon, Missouri to the union of Robert Lee Baker, Sr. and Adelia Baker (nee: Grote) and left from this life on June 6, 2006 in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 25 days. Pauline was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing the organ and guitar, dancing, singing, gardening and she was a wonderful cook. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard "Ed" Farris, two brothers Eugene Baker, Robert L. Baker, Sr. six sisters Ethel Cimaglia, Gladys Claybaugh, Kate Spicer, Pearl Crowder, Irene Howerton and Grace Painter, one great-granddaughter Whitney Campbell. Those who are left to mourn her passing are her son David (Barbara) Farris, four daughters Edwina (James) Britton, Rosemary (Luther) Basham, Laverna (Don) Davis and Ava Waits, one sister Bobbie Mercer, twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation: Friday, June 9, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 West Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral: Saturday, June 10, 2006 10:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Terry Mahurin, officiating. Interment: Lea Cemetery, Leasburg, Missouri. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
