Paul Raymond Giesler of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, December 17, 1922 at Vichy, Missouri to the union of John Oliver Giesler and Clara (nee: Carroll) Giesler and left from this life on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 86 years 10 months and 12 days. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a retiree of Echo Supply after 45+ years of dedicated service. A short time later he became a Contract Plumber. Paul was a loving son, brother, husband, father, step father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his wife Irene Giesler, parents John and Clara Giesler, son Steven W. Vaughn, two brothers Kenneth and Dewey Giesler and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his daughter Heather and husband James Lakaner of Cuba, step daughter Betty Davidson of Springfield, Missouri, grandchildren Damien, Casey, Khanan, Elaine and Rachael and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Inurment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Giesler family.
