Paul James Humphrey of Cuba, Missouri was born Tuesday, June 30, 1970 at Washington, Missouri to the union of Rev. Billy R. and Velma (Nee: Ryerson) Humphrey. Paul left from this life, suddenly, on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the age of 49 years.
Paul was united in marriage to Cynthia M. "Cindy" Collins and to this union three beautiful daughters were born; Ashley, Lauren Kirsten-Rochelle and Savannah Kayleen.
In his younger years, he attended Vo-tech an earned a certificate in HVAC. He was two classes short of having an associate degree in auto mechanics. He was employed at Aerofil Technology and he worked in the blending department.
Paul had been a member of the "Cross of Calvary" singers when he was young, and he currently was a member of the "Scarred Nation" band as guitarist and singer. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, Kansas City Chief's Football and the St. Louis Blue Hockey. What he truly treasured most in life was spoiling his grandson and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a loving grandson, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Billy R. Humphrey; grandparents, Ruby Humphrey, Rev. Russell Ryerson and Annie Ryerson; great grandparents, John and Margaret Ringeisen; uncles, Bill and Vernon Ryerson; cousin, Rhonda Newman and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Cindy Humphrey of the home; three daughters, Ashley N. Humphrey, Lauren Kirsten-Rochelle Humphrey and Savannah Kayleen "Nena" Humphrey all of Cuba; amazing grandson, William Aidan Humphrey of Cuba; mother, Velma Humphrey of Rolla; two brothers, Stephen and wife Nicole Humphrey of Cuba, Joshua and wife Jasmine Humphrey of Rolla; two sisters, Lisa Humphrey Brenton of Belle, Missouri and Kathy Humphrey Murphy of Vichy, Missouri; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sheila and Kenneth Collins of Steelville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Collins and companion Sheila Shockley of Cuba, James L. and wife Lisa Collins of Leasburg, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 4:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home. Special recorded music will be "If Tomorrow Never Comes", "The Dance" and "If You Leave Me Now".
Interment and prayers will follow at the Licklider Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
Honored to serve as casket bearers are Bradley Humphrey, Justin Lowe, Mike Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Kenny Collins and Jimmy Collins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
