Patsy L. Whitworth of Catawissa, Missouri was born Tuesday, May 19, 1942 at East Prairie, Missouri to the union of Cleo and Myrtle (Nee: Walker) Woods and left from this life, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Cedar Crest Manor, Washington, Missouri at the age of 75 years. Patsy was united in marriage to Dennis Whitworth on October 14, 1961 at Granite City, Illinois. They are the proud parents of Joe, Alan Mark and Ginger. Patsy was a substitute teacher for Nike School District in Robertsville for a few years, but her career was taking care of her home and family. She was a collector of angels. Patsy sewed for many years. She would repair all her children's clothes and she made some of the most beautiful quilts ever made. What she loved most in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Patsy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Myrtle Woods, one brother Curtis Woods and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of fifty six years Dennis Whitworth of the home, three children Joe Whitworth of Catawissa, Alan Mark Whitworth of Seattle, Washington and Ginger and husband Mark Masters of Smyrna, Georgia, five grandchildren: Jessica and husband Jesse Spurgeon of Owensville, Jason Whitworth of Jefferson City, Sorsha Masters, Quiden Masters and Gabriel Masters of Smyrna, Georgia, sisters-in-law Linda Woods of Cuba and Linda Williams of North Carolina, brother-in-law Gary and wife Patty Whitworth of Illinois, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A private family gathering was held. In keeping with Patsy's wishes, she was cremated. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba in honored to be serving the Whitworth family.
