Patricia L. Miller

Patricia L. Miller, a beloved resident of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on February 4, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on May 3, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of Roy W. and Elizabeth A. (Green) Wicks.

On October 29, 1955, Patricia married Harold B. Miller, Jr. at St. Rita Catholic Church in St. Louis. Together they raised two wonderful children, Dawn and Mitchell, who brought immense joy to her life.

Patricia dedicated twenty-five years of her career to the Missouri Division of Employment Security before retiring. She was known for her love of reading, her appreciation for fine wines, and her passion for traveling. Patricia also enjoyed engaging in trivia, watching Jeopardy, and following football and golf.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Miller, Jr., her parents, and her brother Joe Wicks. 

Patricia leaves behind cherished memories with her children: Dawn Miller, who is engaged to Jeff Hendricks of Fenton, and Mitchell (Jennifer) Miller of Steelville. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren: David (Michelle) Vasquez of Warrenton, Daniel (Jamie) Vasquez of St. Peters, Luke Miller of Cuba, and Melinda Miller of Fort Collins, CO, as well as her great-grandson, Oliver Vasquez.

In keeping with Patricia's wishes, she will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, a cause dear to her heart. www.shrinerschildrens.org
