Patricia Lynn "Tricia" Durbin of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, May 17, 1974 at Rolla, Missouri to the union of Ray E. and Nancy (Nee: Moore) Meyer and she left from this life, suddenly, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Sullivan at the age of 44 years. Tricia, as she was known by, was a 1992 graduate of the Crawford County R-II School District. During high school, Tricia ran track and cross country. She played basketball and was the Drum Major for the Cuba High School Band. Tricia dedicated her life to helping others. She spoiled all her family, friends and her puppy dogs. She enjoyed fishing with the boys, shooting skeet and cooking. Her enchiladas and chicken and dumplings were the world's best. Tricia spent hours every year working on the yard. She grew beautiful flowers and she was the one who did all the mowing. She always wanted her yard to look perfect. What she treasured most in this world was spending time with her family and friends. Tricia was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, aunt, niece and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father Ray E. Meyer, one brother Keith Meyer, like a father-in-law John Kamler and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving mom Nancy Meyer of Cuba, husband and best friend Kenny Durbin of the home, sons; Michael Harris of Cuba, James Durbin of Cuba and Nick Durbin of Cuba, one sister Robyn and husband Duane Beavers of Oak Harbor, Washington, two brothers James Meyer of Union and Michael Meyer of Cuba, one uncle Paul Meyer of California, mother-in-law Grace Kaysinger of Cuba, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Kim and husband Edwin Pinnell of Cuba, Kelley Durbin of Cuba and Kurt and wife Samantha Kaysinger of Cuba, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 3:0 till 6:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home. Special recorded music will be "Don't' Stop Believin" and "Dreams". Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Durbin/Meyer family.
