Patricia A. (Lea) Stubblefield

Patricia Ann Stubblefield of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 16, 1938, in Rolla, Missouri to the union of James “Ben” and Edna (Hoss) Lea. She left from this life on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Cuba Manor at the age of 83 years.

Pat was united in marriage to Thomas Stubblefield on October 7, 1956, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cuba. To this union one daughter Tonia was born.

Pat worked for S & L Pony Express, her and Tom owned and operated Schmidt Freight Service. She retired from Peoples Bank, after seventeen years of dedicated service. She was a longtime devoted member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 398. She enjoyed collecting light houses, weaving baskets, being outdoors working in her yard and tending to her flowers.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents James “Ben” and Edna (Hoss) Lea; husband Thomas Stubblefield; brother-in-law Ervin Stubblefield; two cousins Wilma Cline and Jim Hoss.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her daughter Toni Stubblefield and husband Leon Childs of Cuba; one sister-in-law Jean Stubblefield of Cuba; one niece Dori Stubblefield of Cuba; one nephew Drew and wife Missy Stubblefield of Cuba; three fur babies Sybil, Pumpkin and Rosie; great-nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nephews, great-great-nieces and many friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin officiating.

Private inurnment will be held at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
