Oneda Grace Chandler of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, February 1, 1926 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of Lawrence and Florence (nee: Carroll) Brewer and left from this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 83 years 11 months and 11 days. Oneda was united in marriage to Thurman Harold Chandler at Steelville in January of 1942 and to this union six children were born Bonnie, Robert, Jim, Dennis, Wanda and Donna. Oneda worked at Convy Shoe Supply for many years before becoming the owner/operator of "The Donut Hole". She enjoyed cooking, gardening, making wedding cakes and playing bingo. But what she enjoyed most was babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. Oneda was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Oneda is preceded in death by her husband Thurman H. Chandler, parents Lawrence and Florence Brewer, daughter Donna M. Chandler, brother Lawrence Brewer and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her children Bonnie and husband Frank Cason of Cuba, Bob and wife Betty Chandler of the Lake of the Ozarks, Jim and wife Cathy Chandler, Dennis Chandler and Wanda and husband Geno Casarroto all of Cuba, brothers Stanley and wife Mildred Brewer and Vesper and wife Maxine Brewer all of Cuba, sister Patsy Chandler of Cuba, sister-in-law Betty Brewer of Cuba, nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13th from 5 till 8 pm at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, 904 W. Washington, Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, January 14th at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Larry Buettner officiating. Special music will be é¢ééWill the Circle Be Unbrokené¢éé, é¢ééWhen I Get to Where Ié¢éém Goingé¢éé and é¢ééGo Rest High on That Mountainé¢éé. Interment will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be to the Alzheimeré¢éés Association in Onedaé¢éés memory.
