Olga Marie Owens of O'Fallon, Missouri formerly of Indian Hills in Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of William and Nettie (Berger) Lippold on January 5, 1914 in Femme Osage, Missouri and left from this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Garden View Care Center in O'Fallon, Missouri at the age of 97. Olga was united in marriage to Bythel Owens on October 12, 1934 in Waterloo, Illinois and to this union two sons were born Thomas and Richard. Olga was an Inspector for Knapp Monarch in St. Louis, Missouri for several years. After retirement Olga and Bythel moved to Indian Hills in Cuba, Missouri were they resided for many years. Olga was a member of Cuba United Methodist Church and the Cuba Senior Center. She enjoyed fishing, arts, crafts and was known to be a cleaning fanatic. Olga is preceded in death by her parents William and Nettie (Berger) Lippold; husband Bythel Owens; two sisters Viola and Evelyn Lippold. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two sons Thomas and wife Bonnie Owens of St. Charles, Missouri, Richard and wife Maureen Owens of Lake of St. Louis, Missouri; god daughter Sandra Garrett of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 11:00 a.m. until time of service 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel (Lucas & Hunt Rd. @ I-70) St. Louis, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Owens family.
