Rolla, MO - Nova Amelia Horton-Owens, a precious infant, born on February 11, 2024, in Rolla, MO, left this world too soon on the same day, surrounded by the love of her family. Although Nova's time with us was brief, her impact on our lives will forever be cherished.

Nova was the beloved daughter of Dyanna Redding and Brock Horton-Owens. In her short time, she brought immense joy and happiness to her parents' lives, filling their hearts with an overflow of love and tenderness. Nova will continue to be held close to their hearts, a shining light that will never dim.

She is survived by her parents, Dyanna Redding and Brock Horton-Owens of Rolla; aunts; Destiny Whitman of Marthasville, Teriah Horton of Illinois, Fayth Redding of Idaho & Hope Redding of Idaho; uncle, Terrance Horton-Owens of Illinois & David Redding & fiance Jaydan Barr of Rolla; grandparents, Greg Redding & fiance Brook Smith of Rolla, Shannon Loyd of Marthasville & Larry and Monica Lyle of St. James; other relatives and friends of the family.

In heartfelt remembrance of Nova Amelia Horton-Owens, family and friends will gather to celebrate and honor her life during the public gathering at Mizell Funeral Home on February 16, 2024, starting at 11:00 am.

Following the gathering, a funeral service will be held at Mizell Funeral Home on the same day, February 16, 2024, at 12:00 pm. It will be a solemn occasion where we will reflect on the blessings that Nova brought into our lives and find solace and strength in our loving family.

Finally, Nova Amelia Horton-Owens will be laid to rest with her ancestors in a graveside service at Kinder Cemetery on February 16, 2024, at 1:15 pm. As we bid farewell, we will find comfort in the knowledge that Nova's spirit will forever live on in our hearts and her presence will continue to guide us.
