Norman George Theurer of St. Louis, Missouri formerly of Leasburg was born to the union of George Rudolph and Marie Christine (Rehn) Theurer on January 28, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Mary Queen and Mother Center in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 95. Norman retired as a Construction Supervisor for the Metropolitan Sewer District in St. Louis after many years of dedicated service. He was Past Master of Kirkwood Lodge #484 A.F. & A.M. and in his spare time he enjoyed wood working. Norman is preceded in death by his parents George Rudolph and Marie Christine (Rehn) Theurer; wife Thelma V. (Nye) Theurer; one brother-in-law James DeLassus. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his sister Marie DeLassus of St. Louis, Missouri; two nephews Paul and wife Mary Delassus, Richard Delassus and special friend Barbara Hartman all of St. Louis, Missouri; one niece Kathryn DeLassus of St. Louis, Missouri; three great-nephews Gregory, Jon Paul and Jason DeLassus all of St. Louis, Missouri. As per his wishes cremation rites were accorded. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the charity of your choice. The Mizell Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Theurer family.
