Norma Lee Bretz of Farmington, Missouri was born on November 22, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Albert "Ted" Priegle and Muriel (nee Bacon) Priegle. Norma departed this life on September 20,2021 at the age of 85 years peacefully at her home.
Norma was married to Robert "Bob" Bretz on October 3, 1953 and they were happily married for 61 years until his death in 2014.
Norma was preceded in death by Robert "Bob" Bretz, husband; Timothy Neil Bretz, son; Lucille Van Bolen, sister; Earl Priegle, brother.
Norma is survived by 3 sons Mark Bretz (Tamara) of Farmington, MO; Daniel Bretz (Liz) of Caledonia, MO; Ronald Bretz (Lisa) of Florissant, MO; 16 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild; Sister-in-Law Jean Bean of Moline, Iowa; Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many dear friends.
Norma lived in Cuba, MO for more than 25 years prior to moving to Farmington where she was involved in many clubs and
activities and where she made many great friends.
In keeping with Norma's wishes, her body was donated to the Washington University School of Medicine so that science and research could continue to help the next generations for years to come.
A "Celebration Of Life" will be held in honor of Norma on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the First Baptist Church 1017 Spruce St. Bismarck, MO from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
