Noma Fay Kamler

Noma Fay Kamler (nee: Graham) of Cuba, Missouri was born on January 6, 1938, to the union of William and Lu Ellen Graham (nee: Goodwin) and went home to her heavenly father on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the age of 85 years.

Noma along with her family lived in Hoxie, Arkansas until the age of 3. Her family then moved to St. Louis. Noma graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1955. Some of her jobs included working as a clerk in a dime store then later working in an office.

Noma married Jerry Conway and to this union two children were born. Diana and Jerry "Jay". Unfortunately, they divorced and she married Melvin Kamler later in life.

Noma's flooring career started at Lawson Brother's Floor Company in St. Louis. She retired from Black's Floor & Wall Center in St. Charles. She worked there for many years. After retiring she moved to Cuba to be near her sister, Nova Lawson,

Traveling was something she really enjoyed. She loved to meet new people and go on adventures. Some of her travels included Europe, Jamaica, Alaska, cruises, several road trips and enjoying Texas in the winters.

Noma was a member of the Cuba First Baptist Church, this is where she met Melvin Kamler. They enjoyed traveling, eating out, going for drives, entertaining along with working on their land and cattle.

Noma is survived by her son, Jerry "Jay" Conway of Cuba, Missouri and daughter Diana Eskra (Mike) of Dauphin Island, Alabama. Step-son, Steve Kamler of Springfield, Missouri, Step-daughter, Cristy Kruse (Ed) of Cuba, Missouri, and Step-son, Matt Kamler of Rolla, Missouri. Grandchildren, Brooke Drakesmith (John) Danni Conway, and Dustin Conway. Step-grandchildren, Amanda Hamaan, Preston Kamler, Andrew Kamler, Cody Kamler, Jaidon Kamler, Nick Kruse, Paige Fairbairn, Isabella Kamler, Lincoln Kamler, Kenzie Pfieffer, and Steven Keogh. Great-grandchildren, Ayla, Iza, Preston, Parker, Pierce and Paige. Step great-grandchildren, Mason Pfeiffer, Watson, Wilder, and Everly Kamler, Ben and Marilyn Kruse, Lennie and Abe Fairbairn, Dylan, Paxton, Maxwell and Addison Keogh. She is also survived by one sister, Nova Lawson of Cuba, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by father, Bill Graham, mother Lu Ellen Graham, husband, Melvin Kamler, Step-daughter, Debbie Watt, Brothers and sisters-in-law, Brooks (Delores) Graham, Bill (Glenda) Graham and brother-in-law, Ken Lawson.

In keeping with her wishes, Noma will be cremated.

Memorial Gathering will be on Friday, December 1, 2023, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Knight, officiating.
