Gracie Lynn "Nikki" Morris of St. James, Missouri was born October 18, 1954 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Samuel and Pearl Elizabeth (Nee: Riefle) Spatafora and left from this life on Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. James, Missouri at the age of 59 years. Nikki was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Morris on February 2, 1980 at Ellisville, Missouri and to this union one son Jonathan was born. Nikki worked as a secretary for the Disable American Veterans for several years before retiring. She spent hours making Christmas ornaments and other crafts. She enjoyed playing poker, watching the Lifetime Channel, reading and her favorite author was V C Andrews. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary since 1981. What she loved most was spending time with her family and friends. Nikki was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, step mother, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousin and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Nikki is preceded in death by her father Samuel Spatafora, one brother Johnny Spatafora, two sisters Patricia and Patrina Spatafora, brother-in-law Larry W. Morris, sisters-in-law Rita Spatafora and Mary Lou Holman and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Ken Morris of the home, son Jonathan Morris of St. James, step son Kenneth and wife Atsuko Morris of Sierra Vista, Arizona, two grandchildren Mia and Leo Morris of Sierra Vista, Arizona, mother Pearl Elizabeth Spatafora of Eldon, Missouri, three brothers Joseph Spatafora, Frank Spatafora of Illinois and Michael (Chriss) Spatafora, five sisters Sandra and husband Charles Rogenhofer of Washington, Missouri, Linda and husband Michael Dosier of Georgetown, Texas, Donna "Maria" Spatafora of St. Charles, Missouri, Gina and husband Jeff Hill of Eldon, Missouri and Tina and husband John Logue of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, four sisters-in-law Edna Peck of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lois Slater of Chanute, Kansas, Betty Eytcheson of Independence, Kansas and Lorene Butler of Iola, Kansas, brother-in-law Jim and wife Lois Morris of Alamo, Texas, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 4:00 till 7:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Special music will be "Wind Beneath My Wings". Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Nikki's memory. In keeping with Nikki's wishes she will be cremated following the funeral service. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Nikki's family
