Nellie Mildred Worley of Cuba, Missouri was born on Thursday, February 9, 1911 at Dent County, Missouri to the union of Peter Perry Farmer and Myrtle Ann (nee: Short) Farmer and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 97 years 5 months and 10 days. Nellie was united in marriage to Rex E. Worley in 1944. They shared many happy years together preaching the word of the Lord to families in the Hillsboro area, before they retired and moved to Cuba. Nellie attended Calvary Assembly of God Church for many years. Nellie dedicated her life to serving the Lord. Nellie worked at a curtain company operating a sewing machine in younger years. She also worked at a Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Nellie is a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, step mother and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Nellie is preceded in death by her husband Rex Worley, parents Peter and Myrtle Farmer and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory is her daughter Nadine and husband Bill Maserang of Spring Hill, Florida, two granddaughters Debra Diane and husband Wyatt Carr and Pamela Ann and husband Jerry Brink, four great grandchildren Ashley and Chad Vancil, Laura Thompson and Serena DeBergh, two step daughters Leah Cason and Doris Pryor both of Cuba and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, July 22nd 10 till 11 AM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, July 22nd at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Interment to follow at Boss Cemetery, Boss, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Worley family.
