Mildred Mae Harrison of Eminence, Missouri was born on Monday, May 21, 1928 at Ink, Missouri to the union of Henry Clay Price and Martha (nee: Jordan) Price and left from this life on Monday, June 4, 2007 at Mountain View Health Care, Mountain View, Missouri at the age of 79 years 13 days. Mildred was united in marriage to Ray Vaughn "R.V." Harrison in 1944 at Hardy, Arkansas and to this union five children were born; Chester, Eugene, Mary Lou, Betty Kay and Lois Jane. The most important part of Mildred's life was her family, but during her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening, playing solitaire, her house flowers, listening to country and blue grass music on the radio which was usually on in their home all the time. Mildred was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Clay Henry and Martha Price, three brothers; Charles, Howard and John Henry Price, one son in law Don Murr and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish and treasure her memory are her loving husband R.V. Harrison of the home, two sons; Chester and wife Eva Harrison of Eminence, Missouri and Eugene "Gene" and wife Yvonne of Hillsboro, Missouri, three daughters; Mary Lou and husband Vernon Shaw of St. Charles, Missouri, Betty Kay Murr of St. Charles, Missouri, Lois Jane and husband Kevin Zvibleman of Warren County, Missouri, one sister Laura Hardy of Winona, Missouri, two sister in laws Luella Willig of the state of California and Violet Faye Harrison of Ashland, Kansas, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, numerous step grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, June 6th from 3 till 7 PM at Duncan Funeral Home, Eminence, Missouri. Funeral service 11 AM Thursday, June 7th at Duncan Funeral Home of Eminence with Pastor Alan Stringer officiating. Interment at Flatwoods Cemetery, Eminence, Missouri and honored to be serving as pall bearers are C.J., David and Paul Harrison, Eliot Houghton, Michael Osborne, Steven Shaw and Ryan Davis. Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st Baptist Church of Eminence in lieu of flowers. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Harrison family.
