Michael Lee "Fat Man" Hunter of St. Louis, Missouri was born on Wednesday, February 25, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri. He left from this life suddenly on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 39 years.
Michael worked in construction most of his life. He enjoyed going, camping, floating, fishing, fast cars and motorcycles. If your vehicle was broke down on the side of the road, Michael would be the guy to stop and help fix it. He will be truly missed, by all who knew and loved him.
Michael was an organ donor, so others in need could continue to live their life.
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his parents Deanna (Tom) Pogue of Cuba, Missouri, Charles (Sherry) Hunter of St. Louis, Missouri; five children Dominick Hunter, Makayla Lewis, Adam Hunter, Grace Hunter, Sam Giller; former wife Shelly Giller; one grandson Josiah Hunter all of Licking, Missouri; brothers and sisters David (Connie) Hunter of St. Louis, Missouri, Amanda Christensen, Jessica Veron both of Hillsboro, Missouri, James (Becky) Christensen, Randy (Julia) Pogue, Austin Pogue all of Cuba, Missouri, Chucky (Lauren) Hunter, Nicholas (Julie) Hunter both of St. Louis, Missouri; grandfather Gerald Hatcher of Cuba, Missouri; special niece Alicia Hunter; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Cuba Free Baptist Church 707 Myrtle St. Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 4:00 p.m. at Cuba Free Baptist Church with Pastor Don Martin, officiating.
Michael will be cremated following the funeral service.
