Michael Lee Click

Michael Lee Click of Cuba, Missouri was born Wednesday, September 7, 1960 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Bobby and Janet (Nee: Pratt) Click. He left from this life on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis at the age of 58 years. Mike started his working career right out of high school. He worked with plumbers and electricians, so he could learn a trade. He found out that he was an excellent carpenter. He remodeled bathrooms, kitchens and even did roofing jobs. He worked at Lewis Machine until he had his first heart attack. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Harley and he was always a comedian. He was known by many as a "Chef". His steaks, ribs and fish fries were the best in the country. What he treasured most in life was family gatherings. He was a member of the Leasburg Revitalization Organization and the "Wild Hogs". Mike was fun loving, giving and he had a heart of gold. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of everyone. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father Bobby Click, aunts, uncles, grandparents and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving mother Janet Click of Cuba, one sister Lori and husband Steve Lewis of Cuba, one nephew Joshua Jordan of St. Louis, one niece Lacie Andrus of Cuba, aunts and uncles; Carolyn Click of Old Monroe, Missouri, Patricia Ronecker of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Jane and husband Wayne Wilbanks of Oklahoma, Jill Hinchey of Caseyville, Illinois, Jo Ellen and husband Lyle Peak of Collinsville, Illinois and Jacquie Castenda of Wyatt, Missouri, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home. Special recorded music will be "The Older I Get", "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". Interment and prayers will follow at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charity of Choice in Mike's memory. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Mike's family.
