Michael E. Beeman

Michael E. Beeman of Cuba, Missouri was born on October 9, 1961 in Fredericktown, Missouri and left from this life on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at his home at the age of 49. Michael served in the U.S. Navy for 12 years. He then worked for FEMA during Hurricane Katrina, before becoming disabled. He enjoyed reading, fishing, floating, camping, being at the river and ocean, rock-n-roll music and spending time with his family and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his father Donald A. Beeman; one sister Linda DeClue and one niece Sarah Hamilton. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his parents Shirley and Fred Pinkston of Cuba, Missouri; three daughters Larissa Beeman of Sullivan, Missouri, Lydia and Cassandra Beeman both of California; eleven sisters Diane and husband Tom Lorinc of Pevely, Missouri, Karen Bradley of Valley Mines, Missouri, Cheryl and husband Mike Marler of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Cathy Coibion of Springfield, Missouri, Janey and husband Denis Redhage of Stanton, Missouri, Sherri Beeman of Owensville, Missouri, Susan Beeman of Kansas City, Missouri, Neva and husband Jim Strosnider of Bourbon, Missouri, Cindy and husband Kurtis Schmidt of Arnold, Missouri, Carrie and husband Doug of Blocker of Festus, Missouri, Freddie and husband Randy Watkins of Rolla, Missouri; special friend Ruthie Spillers of Chalmet, Louisiana; three grandchildren, uncles, aunts, great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 5:00 p.m. until time of Funeral service 7:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Kendall Hughes, officiating. Cremation will follow as per Michael's request. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #456, Leasburg, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is Honored to be serving the Beeman family.
