Michael Denton 'Mikey' Adams

Michael "Mikey" Denton Adams of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, October 2, 1959 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ralph and Veda (nee: Leslie) Adams and left from this life on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 51 years. Mikey as he was known by everyone was the proud father of Shelby, Amy and Steven. Mikey worked as a labor in several different factories throughout his life. He was good hearted, enjoyed reading, going to the library, would give you his last dime and the shirt off of his back just to help a friend. He attended Faith Chapel Church of Cuba and in his younger years he enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing. Mikey was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mikey is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Veda Adams, nephew Daniel Adams, brother-in-law Melvin Makara and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving children Shelby, Amy and Steven Adams all of Cuba, five brothers Ralph Adams Jr. of Cuba, Tony (Pat) Dixon of St. Louis, Gary Adams of Glen Allan, Missouri, Martin & Brian Adams of Cuba, six sisters Jackie Makara of Cuba, Carolyn (Donald) Bowolak of St. Louis, Barbara Jean (Michael) Zobrist of Cuba, Debbie (Michael) Evans of St. Louis, Sandra (James) Mendoza and Terri (Jim) Tyler of Cuba, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 12 Noon till 1:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W. Washington St., Cuba. Graveside service 1:30 PM Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba with Pastor Larry Buettner officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Adams family to help with final expenses. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Adam's family.
